Voyant Tools

Voyant Tools is a web-based text reading and analysis environment. It is a scholarly project that is designed to facilitate reading and interpretive practices for digital humanities students and scholars as well as for the general public (About Voyant Tools).

The Machado de Assis Digital Corpus Project is indebted to Stéfan Sinclair (McGill University) and Geoffrey Rockwell (University of Alberta) who developed Voyant and released it for free. For more information, visit Voyant’s documentation or pick up a copy of Rockwell and Sinclair’s book, Hermeneutica, from MIT Press.
